SRC’s premises consist of a large, easy access workshop facility with ample adjacent parking and Driver CPC Training teaching/ learning spaces.
SRC Garage Services has fully kitted service vans (mobile workshops).
It may seem a long way off but, after a very busy two years, we would suggest that you book 1 course a year to avoid another last minute rush. Remember - without the Card, you can’t drive... if you do choose to drive without the Card you should take your wallet and/or a credit card with you to pay a substantial fine.
If you get trained now, your card will expire in September 2024 - that's for drivers who already have their DQC card. We are taking bookings for weekends in 2022/2023. Book your training now - Saturdays are proving to be very popular, so early enquiry/booking is advised.
All new and existing professional drivers, who drive vehicles over 3.5 tonnes now need to complete 35 hours of professional training, every five years to maintain their CPC qualification.

Training courses and times to suit customers.
To maintain your existing CPC qualification, drivers must successfully complete another of 35 hours of periodic training before 10 September 2024 (i.e. 5 x 7hr courses). Completion of these hours means you will be qualified until September 2029.
Our Training Centre is in Bridgwater (Somerset) BUT we're happy to deliver our Driver CPC Training courses at your premises (providing there is a suitable room) OR at an appropriate venue near your company base.
Good Morning DVSA has confirmed an anticipated restart date of 12 April 2021 for all classroom based periodic training. This includes in-vehicle and third-party classroom-based Driver CPC periodic training. DVSA still encourages periodic training to be delivered remotely where possible to help restrict the spread of the virus.
DVSA anticipates bus lessons, tests and module 4 testing should restart on 29 March with lorry lessons, tests, theory testing and minibus tests restarting on 12 April 2021.
